Today none of the kids came to class because of band. Instead of looking at this block as a spare I went up to the field with Mr Davis and was trying to make the most of the situation. Although it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, I feel that it showed I am still responsible for my actions even if their is no teacher or class.

PE TA Midterm
Midterm Self Assessment
Attendance and participation has been going well, I've only missed a couple of classes and try to be involved with the students, whether it means playing with them or acting as the teacher to supervise. The kids are also such a pleasure and make my job so much easier. Although attendance and participation has been good there's always room for improvement and I plan to keep doing better!
I try to contribute to the class as much as possible, but in such a well behaved and balanced it's hard to really become the single leader, which I think is great because I may be their role model, but they are their own leaders. Usually I help start class by giving some direction but the class just takes over and always does a great job. Being a TA is so easy for this class but I'll still try to contribute in as many ways possible.
Being a TA isn't what I thought it would be. I thought I would just be a "student teacher" kind of like a second person just to supervise, but it is so much more than that. I learn just as much from my classes as they do from me, which is one of the reasons I love coming to class. As a TA I've learned that you don't need to take over and do everything but guide the kids and let them learn as well, I've learned to be patient and also I've learned to make the most of each opportunity. I came to the class expecting a bunch of nerdy kids, but they are the complete opposite. These kids are just as much of a learning step for me as I am for them.
Overall the class has been great, but I know I can do so much better so I've got to keep going. I think that I should be around 82% for this term. I'm not satisfied with 82, but to be honest I know I can do better and I plan on working even harder.

Report card
1. Action : attendance and participation.
I think my attendance is great I've only missed about 2 classes which isn't so bad. I also believe my participation is above and beyond the average student in our class. I always try my best and encourage other to do the same.
2. Contribution : to the class as a community.
I feel I am one of the leaders of the class because I always work hard and motivate others to get going. I also help to start games during choice days and I am the one to sort everything out. I also bring a positive attitude and great vibe to the class, which helps to create a great ambiance. All of these things contribute to make our class more efficient and a nice place to be.
3. Reflection.
In this class I think I can improve working on my blog, which really shouldn't be too difficult considering all of the physical activity I do. I know my strengths are being vocal and being a leader by setting a good example for everyone else. I am also well aware of my weaknesses which are my blog and sometimes getting off topic by hanging out with my friends, but I feel these are things I can change and improve.
Overall, so far, I feel I deserve an A at around 90%. I feel I have displayed throughout the semester so far as to why I deserve this letter grade.

Pe teacher assistant block
Today's class was horrible, it was the first time I've ever seen my class behave like that. At first it wasn't so bad, but slowly I could see the game start dying and becoming a joke to most of the students. I've seen the way my class is and I know having pedersons class with us changed the atmosphere but I feel a little let down by my class because I expect so highly of them. I saw my class being influenced by the other kids instead of setting an example for others. Although the class didn't go very well knowing my class I have 100% faith that they will learn from this and continue the great class and atmosphere we usually maintain.

Fitness day teacher assistant block
Today went well in my opinion, I did fitness with the students although I was sick. It really helped to sweat out the sickness and at the same time I got to be a role model to my students. Being a leader to my class is such an honour, I love being the guy they look up to, not just in pe but just life in general.
Hearing them speak so highly of me makes me so proud to be a part of this class.

Teacher Assistant Blog
Last class I took charge for the entire block and it was a pretty great experience for me. The beginning of the block didnt start out so well because I was not being the leader I should've, instead of shooting around I should have got our class together. After, my incident at the beginning of the block, I feel I really excelled at being a teacher and a leader. The classs also really makes it easy for me because of their honesty and attitude towards pe, it still blows me away. The class honestly doesnt need me to function, but its nice to know that they look up to me in other ways, not only just pe. The class went great and its always a good time with these kids!

What was your attendance during this week? Why? My attendance during dance week was good, if i remember correctly I was there for each class.
Describe your participation throughout the week. What was your favourite part? My participation during dance week was really good in my opinion because i knew i had to help my grade 9/10s during my T.A block. My favourite part of dance week was learning aall the different types of dances, but the best feeling was when i fully understood all the steps to each of the dances.
For your SECOND POST TODAY, write about the following -
a) your attendance & daily effort (being prepared, willing to participate). I always attend class and my daily effort isreally good. I always work hard and try to get others involved aswell.
b) the energy that you bring to class. In class I feel I bring a very positive and upbeat vibe to the class, I feel like this because Im always smiling and that really makes a difference in everyone elses aswell as my pe experience.
c) how you deal with participation in activities that you are not very skilled at (being outside of your comfort zone). Personally, I do not have a problem with trying new activities because I love learning new things and always trying to improve on things that I may not be the best at.
d) what can YOU do to make our class better from now on? I can keep bringing the same positive energy to class and also take on more of a leadership role by helping out more aswell as guiding others to do the same. I feel it will help take our class' pe experience to the nest level.
